Welcome to Photographic View
We aim to share our journey to photograph the parts of Scotland that make us feel more alive. Often that is being in a remote location where there are mountains, secluded glens and water or its on the coast. The absence of people sometimes makes us wonder why these places are not more populated by small sustainable communities as they once were.
We know we are not alone in this quest and many use hillwalking, mountaineering or outdoor sport to get into the wild open spaces. We use photography. On our website photographicview.co.uk there are galleries of prints for sale which we hope will help someone put these images into their own home or office. On this blog we share the things we have found out about the places we visit and the range of advice and discussion about how to photograph them.
We hope to share and learn about places, photography and their value to people. We welcome any common interests and links from those of you on the same journey.
Looking forward to blogging with you.
